Alanya Buggy Safari

Your Buggy safari adventure begins with a convenient pick-up from your hotel in Alanya. Depending on your location, the drive to the starting point takes about 30 minutes. During the transfer, you can relax and enjoy the scenic views of Alanya’s beautiful landscapes while getting excited for the adventure that awaits you.

When you arrive, you’ll be introduced to your vehicle: a Buggy, equipped with a 350cc engine. These buggies are ideal for those seeking a more stable yet exciting ride across Alanya’s diverse terrain. The buggies offer a comfortable, fun experience for those looking to enjoy the adventure at a more relaxed pace, compared to the quad bikes. After a quick briefing on the vehicle, you’ll be ready to start the journey.

Before heading out on the trail, our experienced guides will provide a detailed safety briefing. They will explain how to operate the buggy, the rules to follow on the trail, and what you can expect during the ride. Helmets are provided for everyone free of charge and must be worn throughout the tour. If you wish to record the adventure, you can attach a GoPro camera to your helmet, but holding phones or cameras while driving is not allowed.

To drive the buggy, you must be at least 16 years old. If you meet the age and height requirements, you can ride as a passenger if you’re younger than the required driving age. Once the briefing is complete, you’ll take a short practice ride to get a feel for the vehicle before the actual safari begins.

The safari starts with an exciting exploration of Alanya’s natural beauty. For about an hour and forty-five minutes, you’ll drive along a route that stretches for about 15 kilometers. The path begins with open, dusty trails that allow you to familiarize yourself with the buggy. As you continue, you’ll make your way through peaceful forested areas, enjoying the shade and fresh air.

After a few kilometers, the fun ramps up as you encounter muddy patches, water crossings, and more rugged terrain. This section of the ride is designed to get your adrenaline flowing, with the guides leading, following, and staying beside the group to ensure safety and help with any issues. The pace of the tour will vary, allowing faster drivers to pick up the speed, while more cautious participants can go at a slower pace.

Around the halfway point of the tour, we’ll stop at a serene river for a 30-minute break. You can take a refreshing dip in the cool water or relax by the riverbank, soaking in the peaceful surroundings. Swimming is available during the warmer months, from April to September. In the off-season, you can still enjoy a relaxing break and admire the beautiful natural landscape.

After the break, the second leg of the ride will take you on another exciting stretch of rugged terrain. You’ll cross more water, drive through mud, and navigate uneven paths. The combination of thrilling off-road driving and the stunning scenery of Alanya makes this part of the ride unforgettable.

Once you’ve finished the safari, you’ll return to the base to clean up and relax. There are hose showers available to wash off the mud and dust from the ride, and lockers to store your personal belongings. If you’re feeling thirsty or hungry, the snack bar offers drinks and light snacks. Take a moment to unwind and share stories about your adventure before the transfer back to your hotel.

After a fun-filled day, we’ll transport you back to your hotel in Alanya. The entire experience, including transfers, lasts around three hours, leaving you plenty of time to continue enjoying your vacation.
